The network currently connects colleges and hospitals all over Africa with their equivalents in India. Wings of Fire, Dr. A.P.J.'s autobiography, was written by Arun Tiwari in 1999.

Abdul Kalam is now considered a modern classic. Arun Tiwari is an adjunct professor at the University of Hyderabad's School of Management Sciences.
