I became a single parent to my then two year old son, Teddy, at the start of 2019 when my marriage unexpectedly came to an end. The inspiration for this story came from our trip to London, our first trip as a team of two, combined with frustration at the lack of single parent families featured in books for children.

Originally from Cornwall, I now live in Bristol with Teddy, my partner Paul and his daughter, Tabatha. Plus one enthusiastic Labrador and a rather grumpy cat.
