Deborah Stone is a founding editor of The American Prospect and a Research Professor of Government at Dartmouth College. She is the author of three previous works, including Policy Paradox: The Art of Political Decision-Making, which has been translated into five languages and awarded the American Political Science Association's Aaron Wildavsky Prize for its long-term contribution to policy studies. She has taught at M.I.T. and other universities. Yale, Tulane, University of Bremen, Germany, and National Chung Cheng University in Taiwan, as well as as a visiting at Yale, Tulane, University of Bremen, Germany, and National Chung Cheng University in Taiwan. Her work has appeared in the Nation, the New Republic, Boston Review, Civilization, and Natural History, among other publications. She has earned Guggenheim Foundation and Harvard Law School scholarships, as well as being a Phi Beta Kappa Society Visiting Scholar, and is now a Demos Senior Fellow.
