Tormented by bloodhounds chasing him on an east German plain, Askild Eriksson is a murderer, a cubist painter and a thief. Unable banish it to the shadow realm, he tells us about all the bad things children do- pushing the past forward and past the point of no return.
Morten Ramsland, born 1971, has a degree in Danish and Art History. He is married with two children. He is the author of a collection of poems, an earlier novel and several children's books. Doghead is his first book to be published in English. It became a huge bestseller in Denmark, and he won the Author of the Year, Book of the Year, Reader's Prize and the most prestigious prize for literature,The Golden Laurel Prize in 2005
