There is much information on diet, training, grooming and exercise, avoiding illness and injury, and what to do if ailments or accidents do occur. Directions are given for observing symptoms and treating minor conditions, with information on nursing and first aid, on deciding when to call a veterinarian, and on carrying out the treatment described.
