Sarah Cameron has been traveling and writing about the Americas since graduating with a degree in Latin American Studies, both as an economist and as an author for Footprint Handbooks. She began working for the South American Handbook while working for a British bank, but she left finance in 1990 and has been contributing to the expansion of Footprint titles ever since. Sarah continues to work in South America, collaborating with Ben Box on the South American Handbook, the Peru Handbook, and Cuzco & the Inca Heartlands, but she now focuses her efforts on the Caribbean. She is the author of the Cuba Handbook, the Dominican Republic, Barbados, Saint Lucia, and Antigua & the Leeward Islands, as well as particular island titles including the Cuba Handbook, the Dominican Republic, Barbados, St Lucia, and Antigua & the Leeward Islands. Sarah returns to her 17th-century farmhouse in rural Suffolk, UK, when she is not traveling around the Caribbean enjoying beaches and rum cocktails.
