Gem Barton is a writer and professor who specializes in design. She is currently a Senior Lecturer at Brighton University, where she has ten years of experience teaching architecture, interior design, interior architecture, and design thinking at the graduate and postgraduate levels. She actively engages with and challenges the relationship between education and practice, drawing on her professional experience as a writer in the disciplines of architecture and design.
