Donkey is extremely proud to have been put in charge of the farm - and to be responsible for ensuring that all the jobs get done. Natalie Russell teaches Illustration and Printmaking at Dundee University and Dundee Contemporary Arts, Scotland. Natalie has worked as a print studio co-ordinator at the Edinburgh Book Festival, offering children the opportunity to explore a wide variety of printing techniques. This is Natalie's third picture book for Bloomsbury, her first book, Hamish the Highland Cow with Bloomsbury was short-listed for 'Best New Illustrator' in the Booktrust Early Years Awards in 2004. Since then she has continued to write and illustrate picture books, producing two more with Bloomsbury, Home Sweet Hamish and Donkey's Busy Day.
