Hunter, Mark: - Authors George T. Henry and Mark W. Hunter previously worked together on Images of America: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, also published by Arcadia. George Henry is best known for his photography career, which spans 50 years, and his whitewater rafting experience, which totals 45 years. He is the author of Row Away From the Rocks and Coe College: A Sesquicentennial Look Through 50 Years of George Henry Photography. Mark Hunter, a lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids, started photographing Cedar Rapids and documenting its history in 1977 after watching the demolition of the Taft Hotel. He is presently employed by the Linn County Historical Society as a historian, researcher, and tour guide.
