'A clear, down-to-earth book about online safety' - Parents in Touch Join Olivia and Sam as they discover the wonders of the Internet but learn about how to be safe while they explore. They learn how to deal with cyber bullying and be a good digital citizen, how to keep personal information private and much more. At the end of every chapter the 'Awesome Internet' feature reminds us about all the great things you can do on the Internet, too. Whether you want to use social media safely, use your smartphone or email without downloading something nasty or you're worried that you might be addicted to gaming or experiencing cyber bullying, this illustrated book is a great guide to what you might encounter online for children aged 7+.
This is just what we need - a clear, down-to-earth book about online safetyIt works well for children reading it alone as well as for sharing - and, please, encourage your child to discuss the issues raised. * Parents in Touch *

Ben Hubbard began his writing career at a what's-on newspaper in the 1990s, interviewing bands, actors and artists in his native Wellington, New Zealand. He later joined the fast-paced world of daily newspaper journalism before packing up shop and moving to England. Here, Ben tied a number of new strings to his bow: magazine editor, book editor, and finally, author. Today, Ben writes a mix of non-fiction for all ages - preschoolers through to adults. He has penned titles on an eclectic subject range: from space exploration, samurai warriors and medieval castles; to pop music, pets, tornadoes and rugby skills. Beatriz Castro was born in La Rioja, Spain in 1985. When she was a little girl, she was always drawing and writing stories. She studied illustration at the school of arts in her home town, Logroño. After graduating, she embarked on a career as a professional illustrator and has since been published by many international publishing houses. She especially enjoys creating funny characters. Beatriz likes animals, classic stories and fairy tales and listens to rock and punk music.
