Garland, Caitlynne: - Caitlynne was born and raised in Georgia, just outside of Atlanta, where, early in life, she gave her heart away to two things - reading and animals! Caitlynne went to work at her first veterinarian clinic at the age of 16, and continued in that profession for 10 years. She graduated from Appalachian State University in 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology, and fully intended to continue on to Vet School. But life had other ideas for her. After moving to Raleigh, she got a taste of the book business, and never looked back! Stephanie and Caitlynne started Dog-Eared Books out of the extra bedroom in Caitlynne's home and it has grown into a thriving business! Caitlynne is still a voracious reader, enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking, and most of all, still loves animals ... currently residing with her two dogs, River and Rory, and her 19-year-old cat, Tigger, in Raleigh, North Carolina.
