Maggie and Nigel have served as foster parents for local rescue groups (don't do this if you don't want to acquire more pets: )), using their talents to help rehabilitate animals who have special physical and emotional needs.
Nigel and Maggie spent many years working with clients around the world to help resolve issues with their companion animals. That experience filled them with joy and led to the creation of this book.
While Nigel and Maggie have been lifelong animal lovers, Maggie's passion went one step farther. She chose to get 2 degrees in Biology and specialize in animal behavior in college and graduate school. Not finding the conventional scientific outlook complete enough, she read and studied and learned about many different holistic and energy healing methods, which completed her formal education and led to her meeting Nigel.
Nigel and Maggie met through a dowsing email group on the Internet in 2000, and Maggie went to the UK to meet and work with, and later marry, him. They returned to the U.S. in August of 2001 and settled in Arizona where they started their business, Sixth Sense Consulting, Inc.
