Dreams And Shadows by Robin Wright

The transformation of the Middle East is an issue that will absorb - and challenge - the world for generations to come. Dreams and Shadows attempts to understand the sweeping political and cultural changes that have occurred there in recent decades. Drawing on 35 years of reporting in over 20 countries - through wars, revolutions, uprisings and the birth of new democracy movements - award-winning journalist and Middle East expert Robin Wright has created a masterpiece of reporter's art and a work of profound and enduring insight.

Robin Wright is an American journalist who presently works for the Washington Post, where she covers US international policy. She has worked as a foreign reporter in the Middle East, Europe, and Africa for the Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Sunday Times (London), CBS News, and the Christian Science Monitor.
