
Drinkology Eats by James Waller
Discusses the hows and whys of pairings, and offers menus for a variety of themes and occasions. This book covers the basics of eating while drinking: why certain kinds of food work better with alcohol than others. It also talks about great bar snacks, wine and cheese pairings, champagne toasts, martini menus and cocktail parties.
James Waller is a writer and editor who lives in Brooklyn, New York. He is the editor of the National Writers Union Freelance Writers Guide (F&W Publications 2000) and the author of STC's Moviegoer's Journal (2001) and The Well-Bred Dog and The Well-Bred Cat (2002), in addition to Drinkology (2003) and Drinkology Wine (2005). He teaches writing at Brooklyn's Polytechnic University. Romana Ponce is a caterer, food stylist, and costume designer. She lives in Manhattan. Both Waller and Ponce like to eat and drink - and they much prefer doing so in the company of friends.
