Driving Force by James D Livingston
This work unfolds the long history of magnets, a natural force of nature. It looks at how they guided Columbus, led Einstein to the theory of relativity and inspired writers from the age of Plato. It also demonstrate the ways in which magnets are put to work in new technologies.James D. was born on June 23, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York.
