This tale of genius and resilience offers fresh insights into the essence of the gift in the bohemian underground. Rabinovitch invites us to discover the chess wizard and a Duchamp slightly off pedestal--and ultimately more human.CELIA RABINOVITCH combines the artist's experience into a comprehensive grasp of modern art, history, cultural anthropology, and comparative mythology in her work as an artist, writer, and historian. Her other works look at the intersections of art, history, and spiritual experience. Her vibrant paintings have been exhibited in Canada, Europe, and the United States.
