Molly Ostertag grew up in the woods of upstate New York, spending the first half of her youth reading about wonderful adventures and the second half of her childhood acting them out with foam swords at a live action role-playing club. She presently resides in California and received her bachelor's degree in cartooning and illustration from the School of Visual Arts in 2014. Her first middle-grade graphic novel is The Witch Boy.
