John Glanfield was associated with Earls Court and Olympia Ltd for fifteen years. As an exhibitions organiser he first brought a show to Earls Court in'79. He joined the company in '83, becoming halls director of Olympia and Earls Court. His forty years experience in industry means he is well placed to write this book. He has also written The Devil's Chariots (Sutton, 2001). He lives in Guildford.
