Early German Aces of World War I by Mark Styling

The Fokker Eindeckers were the world's first true fighter aircraft. This volume charts the history of the Early German Aces in World War I, from development of the Fokker Eindeker and its early successes in late 1915 and early 1916, to the decline of the Fokker's superiority and the resurgence of Allied fighter aviation.

Greg VanWyngarden has had a lifelong interest in World War I aviation, and has been particularly active in gathering information on the colours and markings that decorated the various German fighters. This is the sixth title he has written or co-authored for Osprey, including the two volumes on Fokker D VII Aces of WWI (with Norman Franks) in the Osprey Aces series.

Harry Dempsey has been passionate about World War 1 aviation for more than 30 years, resulting in the production of some of the most technically accurate artwork on the subject for Osprey's Aircraft of the Aces series. He has illustrated a vast number of World War 1 titles in Osprey's ever-growing range of best-selling aviation titles.
