East End Heroes by Brian Belton
West Ham United became the first club from the highest echelon of English football to field three black players in League competition. Clive Charles was born in Canning Town; Ade Coker came to London from Nigeria and Clyde Best came to London from Bermuda. This work tells of the origins of these players and what happened to them.
