Easter Experience by Rachel Heathfield
The seeds of forgiveness and new life are planted in the teaching of Jesus from the very start of his ministry. Organised in bite-sized units, this book begins with the holiness of God, and moves on to show how, through Jesus, God's love washes away our wrong-doing and replaces it with the joy of forgiveness. The book includes space for the reader to jot down their own thoughts as they learn why the gift of forgiveness is so integrally connected to the theme of restoration. The themes of the Easter story are explored through contemporary application and activities which are ideal for use in primary schools or church. The book is aimed at parents, godparents, primary teachers, children's work leaders and ministers looking for one-to-one material for use with children aged 5-7 (KS1).
Following professional training in education and psychology, Rachel worked as children's and youth adviser for Guildford diocese. Subsequently she worked with CPAS as Trainer and Editor for the primary age range and later as Regional Development Worker for Eastern England. She is married to Simon and lives on the Wirral.
