SAM KASS served as the Obama administration's senior policy advisor for nutrition policy and is now a senior food commentator for NBC News as well as an advisor to many food technology start-ups. Sam was the executive director of the previous First Lady's Let's Move campaign and assisted her in the creation of the White House's first big vegetable garden since Eleanor Roosevelt's Victory Garden. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago and was trained as a chef in Vienna by Christian Domschitz, one of Austria's greatest chefs.
