She is a co-founder of Emerge America (emergeamerica.org), a premier training program for Democratic women interested in running for political office, and a Commissioner on the San Francisco Commission on the Status of Women, where she chairs the Justice and Courage Domestic Violence Initiative. Keehn also presents the arts and culture Internet/radio show Keehn on Art (keehnonart.com) and has produced several television shows, including the two-time Emmy-winning documentary Of Civil Wrongs and Rights: The FredKorematsu Story.
