Eddey on the English Legal System by Kj Eddey
This book, aimed at law students and students on vocational courses, provides a concise and up-to-date introduction to the English legal system. In this new edition, the text has been substantially updated to include developments such as the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, Pepper v. Hart (1993), the Civil Evidence Act 1995, the Criminal Appeal Act 1995, and the 1995 Practice Notes on civil case management. Much of the book has been rewritten, while the length of the chapter on EC law has doubled, to reflect its growing importance in English law.
