Eden Summer by Liz Flanagan

When her best friend Eden doesn't turn up for school one morning, Jess's world is turned upside down. The police say Eden's missing, and her boyfriend Liam is the prime suspect. So Jess starts retracing her steps. She looks back over the summer they spent together. She starts to notice new things. She questions everything she thought Eden's summer had been about. And as the truth is revealed, she realises she needs to find Eden before the unthinkable happens . . . A thrilling journey through friendship, loss, betrayal and self-discovery.
A powerful exploration of the extraordinary power of friendship, both truthful and intenseIt's that rare and wonderful thing: a thriller of the heart, written from the heart, that hits home straight to the heart * Melvin Burgess, Carnegie Medal winning author of Junk *
Dazzling. Utterly gripping. Writing so fresh every chapter leaves you gasping for air and SO tautly plotted it hurts. If you're going to read one book about the true nature of friendship let it be Eden Summer * Brian Conaghan, Carnegie Medal shortlisted author of When Mr Dog Bites *
