Jennifer Veitch is a former Scottish Young Journalist of the Year. She has worked for almost all of the Scottish print media including The Aberdeen Evening Express, The Scotsman, The Daily Record and was Assistant Editor of the Edinburgh Evening News until 2005. She now works as a freelance journalist and author. Her first book was 'Living Memories: A Portrait of Edinburgh in the Last Century' . She lives in Edinburgh and is a member of the Cockburn Association, Edinburgh’s Civic Trust.
