Edmund de Waal is an artist and award-winning author of numerous titles including the bestselling The Hare with the Amber Eyes (2010) and The White Road (2015).
Hartwig Fischer is Director of the British Museum having taken up the post in Spring 2016. Prior to this he was Director of the Dresden State Art Collections (Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden).
Elif Shafak is an award-winning Turkish-British novelist, essayist, academic, public speaker and women’s rights activist. Her book 10 Minutes 38 Seconds in This Strange World was shortlisted for the 2019 Booker Prize.
