Eloy Moreno was born in the Spanish town of Castellón de la Plana in 1976. Spanish author best known for his first work, El bolgrafo de gel verde, which was published by Autoedición. The Universidad Jaume I awarded him the title of Ingeniera Técnica in Informática de Gestión. At this same university, he took writing classes. After finishing his university studies, he worked at an information technology company until he was hired by the Ayuntamiento of Castellón de la Plana, where he continues to work.
He began his career in literature by self-publishing his first book; he has also written several short stories, one of which, La cama creciente, won the II Concurso de Relato Corto 2008, organized by the Casal Jove de Castelló, in the category of 19 to 35 years old. In addition, she writes opinion pieces for her blog Tercera Opinión, which won the prize for best blog in the second edition of Atrápalo's '1 year in 1 post' competition. Finalista de los Premios de la Crtica Valenciana 2012 in el apartado de narrativa por la misma obra, and Premio Onda Cero Castellón 2011 por el esfuerzo realizado en la difusión de El bolgrafo de gel green.
