Arthur F. Fogler is played by H.Scott Fogler. At the University of Michigan, he is a Thurnau Professor and a Vennema Professor of Chemical Engineering. Flow and reaction in porous media, fused chemical interactions, gellation kinetics, and chemical reaction engineering challenges in the petroleum sector are among his research interests. He has 37 Ph.D.s under his belt. In these fields, he has more than 200 peer-reviewed papers.
Fogler is the AIChE President-elect for 2008. He has served as director of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, chaired ASEE's Chemical Engineering Division, and received the Warren K. The American Institute of Chemical Engineers gave him the Lewis Award for contributions to chemical engineering education, and the Chemical Manufacturers Association gave him the National Catalyst Award. He is a co-author of Prentice Hall's bestselling textbook Techniques for Creative Problem Solving, Second Edition.
