Kirsten Liese born in Berlin in 1964, studied music education and German philology. Since 1996 she has lived and worked in Berlin as an independent journalist, author and editor specializing in opera, chamber music, concerts, and cinema.



Lillian Fayer was born in 1917 in New York. She was educated as a photographer in Vienna at the School for Graphic Education and Research Institue. In 1942 she took over her father's photo studio. She specialized in private and costume portraits as well as full stage scenes. Lillian took photographs for all the big Austrian musical institutions, including the Salzburg Festival and the Vienna State Opera.
