Elv1s by Elvis Presley

(Piano/Vocal/Guitar Artist Songbook). August 16, 2002 marked the 25th anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley, so for this special year of Elvis, many events were planned to celebrate his life and his incredible impact on music and the world. The tributes will culminate in RCA's October release of a very special CD package, ELV1S 30 #1 Hits . This definitive and ultimate Elvis Presley release assembles for the first time 30 of his #1 hits on one CD. Our excellent piano/vocal/guitar collection is the matching songbook to this CD, and includes such chart-topping songs as: All Shook Up * Are You Lonesome Tonight? * Can't Help Falling in Love * Don't Be Cruel * Heartbreak Hotel * Hound Dog * Jailhouse Rock * Return to Sender * Stuck on You * Suspicious Minds * You're the Devil in Disguise * and more plus the 2002 chart-topping JXL radio edit remix of A Little Less Conversation as a bonus. This is quintessential Elvis

During the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, Elvis Presley was a globally recognized and beloved singer and performer. Elvis Presley was nominated for fourteen Grammy Awards (three of which he won) and sold over a billion albums worldwide, more than any other artist. Elvis Presley got the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award at the age of 36, and the United States Jaycees named him one of the Ten Distinguished Young Men of America in 1970. Elvis Presley starred in thirty-three films and made numerous television appearances in addition to his musical achievements. On August 16, 1977, Elvis Presley died at his Memphis home.

He is now considered as the king of rock and roll and one of the twentieth century's most significant pop culture personalities. Stephanie Graegin grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Houston, Texas, where she spent her childhood painting and collecting animals. She graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in fine arts and the Pratt Institute with a MFA in printmaking. Stephanie currently resides in Brooklyn, where she continues to draw and has reduced her collection to just one orange cat.
