Brae Wyckoff was born and reared in San Diego, California, and is an award-winning and internationally acclaimed novelist. He and his lovely wife, Jill, married in 1993 and have three children and six gorgeous grandchildren. Brae was inspired to write The Orb of Truth, the first in a series of fantasy action adventures, by his fascination with strange regions and the otherworldly. His first book, The Orb of Truth, was chosen #1 in multiple categories, including Best Indie Fantasy Novel, Epic Fantasy Worth Your Time, and Fantasy Literature That Should Be Compulsory Reading. The Dragon God and The Vampire King are two other award-winning works.

After collaborating with Disney Illustrator Seth Weinberg, Brae released his debut children's book, The Unfriendly Dragon, in 2015. Brae is currently the Director of Kingdom Writers Association (KWA) in San Diego, where he encourages and empowers writers of all levels to pursue their purpose as authors. Awakening International Training & Reformation Center includes KWA.
