On the other hand, the emergence of experimental philosophy has given rise to a new context in which philosophers have begun to search for a more thorough definition of philosophical competence.

Konrad Werner works as adjunct professor at the University of Warsaw, Poland. His interests span general ontology as well as applied ontologies in such areas as theoretical biology, cognitive science and the social sciences (especially economics). He is interested in the ontological foundations of the embodied mind paradigm and enactivism. His works have been published in Synthese,Topoi, Adaptive Behavior, Philosophia, Philosophical Papers, Constructivist Foundations, among other places.
