Hyland, Matthew: - Matthew G. Hyland holds a doctorate in American Studies from the College of William and Mary. He has worked as an architectural historian and a historical archaeologist on a variety of historic preservation projects in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States. His major areas of research focus on colonial and early national period architecture and landscapes.
