Endangered Species by Malcolm Penny
Tigers, wolves, pandas and whales are just a few of the best-known endangered species, but there are thousands more - many of them vanishing before they have even been discovered. This title looks at the reasons why so many species are now threatened or endangered, and discusses different conservation strategies.
'[It] contains splendid photographs on every page [and] there is a wealth of information and discussion'-- School Librarian, Vol 50, No. 2, Summer 2002
