Robert L. Davis is an Associate Professor and Director of the University of Oregon's Spanish Language Program, as well as the Assistant Director of Middlebury College's Spanish Summer Language School. He teaches Spanish, historical linguistics, and teaching methods courses. His research interests include language pedagogy and materials development, with a focus on language skills development in content-based instruction. He has published essays on language pedagogy, materials production, and language program direction, as well as an advanced oral skills textbook.
