
Error of Judgement by Dexter Dias
A disturbed man claims to have buried a corpse. He knows the exact location but does not know who the victim is, or who he is. Nick Downes is charged with defending the unknown man, but when the corpse's skull is reconstructed a dead man's face appears - a face exactly like that of Nick's client.
Dexter Dias is a practising barrister specialising in criminal defence and legal aid cases. He is in his early thirties, and was inspired to try write fiction when he met Ruth Rendell while defending a client on a murder charge.
