After completing his undergraduate work in 1978 at the Kansas City Art Institute, Andrew received a Master of Fine Arts from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. He is the recipient of two NEA Fellowships. Spanning twenty-five years, Andrew's career includes teaching mold and slip casting workshops. Andrew currently lives in California.
