Tonia Reinhard is a Senior Professor in Nutrition and Food Science at Wayne State University's School of Medicine and Co-Director of Clinical Nutrition, as well as adjunct nutrition faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Michigan Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the Michigan Nutrition and Dietetics Institute. Previously, she worked as a clinical nutrition manager, a community program director, and as a consultant. She has written nine books, as well as numerous technical papers for industry and consumers, and has given talks to a wide range of audiences, including dietitians, nurses, teachers, physical therapists, medical students, and industry trade groups. In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, she also led international workshops on the Nutrition Care Process.
