Joseph Murphy is the Frank W. Mayborn Chair and associate dean at Peabody College of Education at Vanderbilt University. He has authored or co-authored eighteen books including Understanding and Assessing the Charter School Movement and Leadership for Literacy. He lives in Tennessee.
