Howard Goodall is a prominent broadcaster as well as an Emmy, Brit, and BAFTA Award-winning composer of choral music, stage musicals, and film and television scores. He has served as England's first ever National Ambassador for Singing, as well as the Classical Brit Composer of the Year and the Composer-in-Residence for Classic FM. In the 2011 New Year Honors, he was named Commander of the Order of the British Empire for his contributions to music education.
