Edith Wharton (1862-1937), born into a distinguished New York family, became a celebrated American novelist and published more than forty volumes consisting of novels, stories, verse, essays, travel books and memoirs. Elizabeth Ammons is Harriet H. Fay Professor of Literature at tufts University. She lives in Medford, Massachusetts. Jeffrey Brown is a comic book writer and artist who won an Ignatz Award in 2003 for his mini-comic I Am Going to Be Small.
