From his adolescence, Charles Ray has been writing fiction. This is the ninth installment in the Al Pennyback saga. He's also the author of three fantasy novels, a photo record of his adventures in southern Africa, and two leadership books. He is a frequent contributor to internet media and a Yahoo! Voices featured travel writer. His writing has appeared in a number of anthologies as a published poet.
Ray has also worked as a journalist for newspapers and magazines, including as an editorial cartoonist and feature writer for the Spring Lake (NC) News in the 1970s. He is a talented photographer whose work has appeared in a variety of Asian and North American journals.
