Annie Somerville is the executive chef at Greens Restaurant and the author of Fields of Greens, an award-winning cookbook. She began her career at Greens in 1981, where she received her training from Deborah Madison, and has served as the executive chef since 1985. Greens has thrived under her culinary leadership, expanding and adapting to a fast changing marketplace while setting the standard for inventive vegetarian cuisine. Somerville is now in her twenty-second year at Greens, and her dedication to using garden-fresh fruit and cooking according to the seasons is greater than ever.
