Everything is Complicated by Anthea Bell
A collection of illustrations by world-renowned cartoonist Jean-Jacques Sempe.
'[Sempé] has a lighter-than-light pen style, finished off with grey washes, and his big-nosed characters are expressive beyond wordsIn fact, it's a credit to his skill that a lot of the strips collected here are silent. The slapstick is not dated at all and the pitch-perfect rhythm of the panels remains a wonder to behold.'
