The story of the seven regiments which compose the Household Division, commonly referred to as the Guards, has been often told, individually and jointly. Rupert Uloth served with the Life Guards (1988-93) in Cyprus, Germany and England and in Northern Ireland as operations officer attached to 1st Bn Irish Guards. After leaving the Army he worked as a journalist, and is currently Features Editor of Country Life magazine.
