Hunt, Nancy: - Nancy Hunt is a professor in the Division of Special Education and Counseling at California State University, Los Angeles. She teaches in the Early Childhood Special Education program, supervises students in early intervention and preschool settings, and frequently teaches the introductory special education class for which she and Dr. Kathleen Marshall wrote this text. Dr. Hunt received her M.A. in special education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and her Ph.D. from the University of Southern California. She taught deaf children for nine years at the Lexington School for the Deaf in New York and in California. She is married and has three daughters.
