The daughter of Indo-Pakistani and Tanzanian immigrants, Aliya LeeKong is passionate about bringing exotic ingredients and traditions into American cuisine. Trained by the French Culinary Institute, she spent years in a number of culturally diverse kitchens, including Per Se, Jean Georges, Devi, Elettaria, and Bati.
