Marcus Braybrooke is an Anglican priest, an interfaith activist and author. He is Joint President of the World Congress of Faiths, Co-Founder of the Three Faiths Forum and a Peace Councillor

He includes members of many religions and countries: some well-known, such as Zoroaster, the Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad, and Rumi: others such as Rabia, Julian of Norwich, Ba'al Shem Tov or Tulsidas deserve to be better known. He shows how mystics come together in emphasising the love of God and in calling for peace, an end to poverty and reverence for the natural world. He has also edited several anthologies of prayers and meditations, including 1,000 World Prayers, Bridge of Stars, Life Lines.
Revd Dr Marcus Braybrooke was awarded a Lambeth Doctorate of Divinity by the Archbishop of Canterbury 'for his contribution to inter-religious co-operation and understanding throughout the world.' In September 2004. He has also received the Sir Sigmund Sternberg Interfaith Gold Medallion, the Kashi Ashram Lifetime Achievement Award and the Sri Ramanuja Mission Trust Lifetime Achievement Award.
Marcus is married to Mary, a Vice-President of the World Congress of Faiths, a retired social worker and a magistrate. They have two children, six grand-daughters and a poodle called Toffee.
