Exploring Advent with Luke

The feel-good place to buy books

Timothy Clayton is husband, father, priest, and author. He lives with his wife Cheryl and their children in a 300-year-old home on Boston's North Shore, where he serves as rector of Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church and enjoys sea kayaking and cross-country skiing. His first book was on Advent and on spirituality: Exploring Advent with Luke, published by Ave Maria Press. Tim grew up in North Carolina and went to UNC Chapel Hill. He taught English in Budapest, Hungary, for a spell just after the Berlin Wall came down and Central Europe opened up. Two of Tim's other passions are travel and other cultures, and the outdoors. He has led mission or spiritual pilgrimage trips in more than a dozen countries on five continents. His favorite places on the planet (so far!) are Lindisfarne (Holy Island) & Durham Cathedral in north-east England, and the Masai Mara in Kenya. The best of life is his family. Tim is married to Cheryl, and they have three wonderful children. Together they live with a mighty Bernese Mountain Dog, and a rather large and fluffy cat.
